Chilly Fest 
The Downtown Sylva Association’s third annual Chilly Fest is set for November 6, 2010. The event will take place from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Bridge Park in historic downtown Sylva and will feature live music and host crafters during the event.
Individuals and teams participating in the chili cook-off will pay a $15 entry fee. Crafters and artists interested in being apart of this festival will pay a booth space fee of $25. Several prizes will be awarded. Among them are Best Professional, Best Amateur, Best Vegetarian, Peoples’ Choice and Best Booth in Show. Applications for the event will be available the first week in August. Space is limited, so turn in your application and registration fee soon to secure your spot.
This event is open to the public. A $5.00 donation is suggested for those interested in participating in the chili cook-off tasting and voting in the People’s Choice and Best Booth in Show categories.
