Our Board
Under DSA's current bylaws, the Board of Directors consists of no less than 9 and no more than 17 voting members, plus 3 ex officio. The ex officio members are appointees from Western Carolina University, Southwestern Community College, and West Care Health Systems. Three voting members are appointed by virtue of their association with the Sylva Town Government, Jackson County Government, and the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce. 60% of the board will represent downtown businesses or properties at all times.
