The Jackson County Public Library will host staff members from the Franklin Gem and Mineral Museum for a program on local geology and gemstone identification on Tuesday, October 4th at 7:00 p.m. The event will be held in the Atrium of the Jackson County Public Library Complex.
Diane Aiello and Fred Plesner will display and discuss local specimens and also demonstrate geode splitting. Attendees are encouraged to bring samples they’d like identified.
