What better way to spend an April afternoon than helping out the community and environment all while having fun on the river? For the past 25 years thousands of volunteers have join forces to clean up the Tuckasegee River. Once you register on the UC lawn you’ll be given a Free t-shirt (while they last), snack, lifejacket, paddle, and transportation to the river. Once there you’ll get trash bags, listen to the river talk, hop in a raft and down the river you go for a rafting / trash picking up experience! All volunteers are invited to join us on the UC lawn at 5pm for a free cookout and a chance to win great door prizes donated from local businesses. For more information please check out our website.
