Saturday, October 23, from 10am until 4:00pm Catch the Spirit of Appalachia (CSA) presents its annual Western North Carolina art event, ColorFest, Art of the Blue Ridge. Starting with an artist’s reception on September 29, this month-long event will spotlight regional Western North Carolina artist’s work in shops on Main Street in Downtown Sylva, North Carolina. These selected fine artists will gather underneath store awnings and colorful umbrellas strewed along main street on the sidewalks of Sylva in a culminating day-long event on October 23 to create their works of art for you to witness and experience the magic first-hand. Local musicians will also gather in restaurants on Main Street to set a backdrop of colorful music.
