A Clothesline Art Sale will be held on Saturday, July 24^th, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Bridge Park Pavilion. Proceeds from the art sale will benefit the children’s section of the new Jackson County Public Library Complex.

Children are invited to add their artwork to the Clothesline Art Sale. All kid-made artwork needs to be at the pavilion before 10 a.m. on July 24^th.

All of the donated art will be displayed along a clothesline and will be for sale to the public. Each piece will have a suggested minimum donation assigned to it.

If children do not already have art to donate, they still have time to create an artistic piece for the sale. They might make use of what they have at home – newspaper, yarn, paper plates, magazines, paper grocery bags, cardboard, etc. Draw, paint, sew, cut or glue upon a surface of their choice. Paintings, drawings, collages and photos are acceptable.

Jackson County citizens and visitors are invited to come to Bridge Park to peruse the lovely works of art, and take one (or more) home for a nominal donation. It is definitely “art with a heart!”

Kid-friendly food and drinks will be for sale during the event. A hands-on art activity will be available for the children during the sale.

Artists are encouraged to stay and enjoy the experience of contributing to their public library in a meaningful way while also having their creative efforts validated.
