10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Located in Downtown Sylva -
Main Street & Bridge ParkLive Music on two stages
Over 100 vendors, children’s activities, food,
environmental education, and more!
5K Race - begins at 9:00 a.m. at Mark Watson
Park - sponsored by the Jackson County Greenways Project
White Cedar seedlings will be given away from
the Main Stage at various times during the day
as a way to celebrate the upcoming Arbor Day
Catch the Spirit of Appalachia Traditional
Heritage Walk - featuring the Heritage Alive!
Youth Talend Contest

Come join us in Downtown Sylva to celebrate Greening Up the Mountains. Local restaurants and businesses will be having great specials. Continue reading for specials from Heinzelmannchen Brewery, Papou’s Wine Shop, Bubacz’s Signature Brew, Spring Street Cafe, The Friends of the Library Used Book Store, and The Nichols House.
