Saturday finds the Glorious Jackson County Farmer’s Market meeting in the back of Eric’s Fresh Fish Market. Weather permitting, they’ll also be setting up outside as well; come on down, check out the budding spring crops and gifts and crafts.

This past week, locally grown produce from William Shelton’s Family Farms of Whittier, N.C.was available for the FIRST time in the Market at 609 Mill St. (Back Street) at the Spring St. traffic light. William brought a colorful assortment of Hydroponic lettuce that included Red, Oak, and Leaf, along with some beautiful Arugula; all for only $1.00 a bunch. Look for a wider variety of fruit & veggies as we work through the season.
