As you may have heard, there will not be the traditional July 4th festivities in Sylva this year due to the construction on the new library. But there are nine (9) other options! 4. Cherokee Pow Wow: Annual Powwow July 3-5.

5. Inspirations Gospel Extravaganza:
Famous gospel group invites other top groups for a week-long event. Fireworks, food, music and crafts at Inspiration Park, 828-497-2060.

6. Mountain Artisans Fine Art & Craft Show:

July 4th & 5th. 10 am- 5 pm at the Ramsey Center on the WCU campus. The show will feature over 100 artists and crafters. www.mountainartisans.net, 828-524-3405.

7. Mountain Creek Vistas:

8.Stecoah Valley Center:
